Successful recruiters come from a variety of different backgrounds. Over the years, we have seen all sorts of people become outstanding recruitment consultants. Some of the key requirements are a huge sense of determination and a real hunger to succeed. You will be a fantastic communicator with the ability to persuade and influence. You’ll need a high level of emotional intelligence; people will be consulting you on their careers so you must to be able to recognise and respond to people’s wants and needs.
